a) Registration and Member Account

We process only personal data that is technically absolutely necessary for the provision, operation, and administration of the member portal: username (pseudonym or real name), email address, and encrypted password (hashed). Legal Basis: The processing of this data is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract or implementation of pre-contractual measures to use the member portal).

b) Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us (e.g., IP address, browser type, time of access). This data cannot be assigned to specific persons and serves exclusively for IT security and error analysis. Legal Basis: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the error-free provision and security of our website).

4. Use of Cookies and Local Storage

We pursue a data-minimizing approach. No tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies (e.g., from Google or Facebook) are used. We only use technically necessary storage media to provide core functions: 1. Session Management (Session Cookie): Temporarily stores an encrypted token so that you remain logged in after login (deleted after closing the browser). 2. Preference Storage (Local Storage & Cookie): Stores your language selection (NEXT_LOCALE), your chosen theme, and your cookie consent decision (cookie-consent). Legal Basis: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in providing a functional and user-friendly service) as well as § 25 Abs. 2 TDDDG.

5. Hosting and Data Transfer

Our website and the associated database are hosted by a professional cloud provider with server locations within the European Union (EU). A transfer of your personal data to third parties or a transmission to third countries outside the EU does not take place.

Within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) of your personal data.
